Being Bilingual.

First of all... What does it mean to say somebody is bilingual?
Being bilingual, is speaking two languages, ( three or more languages is called Multilingual, but sometimes, the term "Bilingual"  can be used for both situations).
There are several cases of bilingual people around the word, the most common case, is in the U.S.
The reason? the reason is simple, remember that English, is one of the most important languages around the world, and there is a large number of inmigrants (most Latin American people)  looking for the opportunity of their lives, so when the children of these immigrants are born, are required to learn a new language, in this case the English, and also the native language of their parents (spanish) contributing to their cognitive development.
I have a cousin born in United States, now he is 12 years old and he has a fluent English and spanish, He can dominate that two languages and presents no problems.
